Wow..
I am so shit at updating this blog.
When I restarted it 2011, I vowed to myself that I would make more of an effort to keep up with it and it did start well...however, went swiftly downhill when I started college. I have a feeling that I get put off updating my blog because I constantly look at other blogs and see paragraph after paragraph of witty, clever writing. I am, unfortunately, one of 'those' who struggle with expressing themselves through writing and the outcome of my trying just sounds ridiculously cliché. Much like that sentence I just put together.
So. I will stop waffling on and get down to the reason why I actually wanted to write this post. As I cannot express myself through words (dw, as I write this, I'm cringing too), I have decided to simply just go with the flow and post whatever. I know I probably said this before but I've decided that I will post things that inspire me and I find most inspiration in photos and quotes I find here, there and everywhere. Some posts may just be a stream of photos that I've found and like, or maybe I will vent all of the thoughts that are swimming around in my head before it explodes due to the stress of my upcoming A Level exams.
You could say this was a vent in itself. But as I haven't made an appearance in almost a year, I though I owed all the millions of followers I have, my version of an explanation as to why I've been absent. For anyone who stumbles upon this blog, fear not! I regularly look back at all of the things I've posted prior to this and cringe, like, so , so , soooooooooo badly.
Rant over.
Ok, bye.

Ok, bye.

I Need Motivation...and New Balance 420s
My AS levels are fast approaching..in fact, they're only a month away...Yet, instead of getting stuck into my art work that I've been staring at for the past hour, I'm writing this post. I feel really unmotivated at the moment. A few weeks ago, a load of universities came to my college, telling us everything we could possibly need to know about uni life. I personally hadn't even thought about which university I want to go to or even if I want to go at all. Everyone around me at college seems to have a pretty good idea of what they want to do with the rest of their lives...and I honestly have no clue. It stresses me out just thinking about applying for a Sunday job, let alone deciding what I want to do with the rest of my life.
I can't keep up with college work, I can't focus half the time and I waste hours looking at blogs on the internet, wishing I could be like every other person in the world but myself. It's not even like I've done anything to try and make myself the way I want to be..like I said before, I have no motivation. My parents just bought me and my sister a cute little bashed-up VW Polo so we can learn to drive. I went on about how I was going to save up to get my provisional driving license and have had the form sitting in my room for weeks and guess what, I HAVEN'T FILLED IT OUT!
I just don't really know what to do with myself at the moment. I can't even maintain this blog..it's been months since I last put up a post.
Anyway, whilst procrastinating today, I've been looking at New Balance 420's, and they're sold out everywhere online! I didn't used to like them but recently I've been seeing them everywhere. Kind of like how the Nike Blazers were the big craze, except I feel like New Balance are kind of like Supergas in the way that they are kind of classic? Anyway, my mum wants a pair and now I want a pair too. Luckily we are the same shoe size so we could totally share..Not sure how she'd feel about that though. It's hard enough trying to track down one pair in our size, let alone two. I'm seriously wanting a navy pair or maroon ones like below. Of course my mum wants the most coveted pair around, the all red ones. Good luck to me trying to find them..

A Few of My Favourite Things
Here are some of the things I bought when I was in France.
As you all know, Im very into nail art and nail varnish, so I decided to splurge on these beautiful YSL and Dior varnishes! The quality is amazing and they don't chip easily, you really get what you pay for with these.
I found this Esprit jumper in a small French shop, it's super cosy and I thought it would be practical for college in the winter, plus I've always wanted a jumper with elbow pads!
Whenever my parents and I go to France, we go to loads of boot fairs and sometimes find some amazing things. My mum is always finding bargains, but I never find anything.
She managed to find me this super-soft, vintage, cashmere Zadig & Voltaire jumper for €5!
I absolutely love the colour and it's crazy how soft it is!
I got a pair of burgundy Superga's that I've been wanting for ages, in the Superga shop in Covent Garden. Plus, they were only £20!

Summertime Sadness
The title of this post does not reflect my summer holiday, but instead my feelings towards starting college tomorrow. I had the most amazing summer in France, where we have a little cottage by the sea. We were joined by my best friend for a week and to top it all off, the weather was beautiful!

Jewellery
Hello again. It's been a while since I last posted, which is exactly what I didn't want to happen. But now my exams are out of the way, as they have been for more than a month, I will hopefully be blogging on a regular basis! Since finishing school, a lot has been happening, well at least I think so. I've been looking at sixth forms, I had my leaver's dinner, where I got completely crunk and did some pretty embarrassing things, and other things which I will go on to explain in a different post.
First things first, you are probably wondering what the photos in this post are for. Basically, a few months ago my mum was given hundreds of vintage onyx pendants, bracelets, brooches, earrings and rings to sell. These are genuine vintage Italian pieces from the 70's.
Above is a taster of some of the pendants that are for sale, and there are more styles available.
The pendants come in different sizes, and are in gold or silver tone metal.
The stones vary in colour from pendant to pendant as onyx is a natural stone.
These pieces are very affordable at £5 each + £2.50 UK postage (outside UK will be more).
I have put an Asos badge in the right hand collumn which will take you to my Asos Marketplace gallery/account where the jewellery will be sold.
